Scenkonst Sörmland

Scenkonst Sörmland puts together a large chamber ensemble which, together with text readers Ingela Schale Berghagen and Mats Jäderlund, will guide you through music and poetry.

Working with the theme of Freedom & Borders, there will be an interplay between inner worlds and boundless imagination, and between the depths of sorrow and the peaks of love.

There will be poetry by Bruno K Öijer, Bodil Malmsten, Lars Norén and Kristina Lugn, among others.

The music will include Gunnar de Frumerie's rarely played Musica Per Nove and the world première of Places, Nowhere written by Young Swedish Composer 2023 Marcus Lundberg.

These works will be performed by some of Sweden's finest chamber musicians, specially handpicked for the concert, and conducted by Martin Sturfält.
